Aaron Jeffery

  Aaron C. Jeffery is an award-winning Logie Award-winning New Zealand and Australian actor. He is well-known for his role in Water Rats as Terry Watson, Alex Ryan and Matt Fletcher which are all from McLeod's Daughters. He was born in Howick, Auckland, Jeffery was able to move to Australia at the age of 17 and studied acting at NIDA. He graduated from NIDA in 1993. He began his television career with children's program Ship to Shore. Jeffery is best-known for his part as Alex Ryan in McLeod's Daughters. He departed the drama in 2008. He also appeared in the third season of the New Zealand drama series Outrageous Fortune. Jeffery was also seen as Frank in Underbelly: Badness. The filming ended on the 22nd of June. A few days later, Jeffery was officially confirmed as Bradley Fox's replacement for Neighbours for a period of two months. The news was that Jeffery had been selected to play an officer of corrections at Wentworth on October. He was also featured in the Bevan Lee series Between Two Worlds for the Seven Network. It was announced in April 2021 that Jeffery would be appearing on the Netflix thriller series Pieces of Her. The show is based on the Karin Slaughter novel. Jeffery's performance on McLeod's Daughters was rewarded with the Silver Logie in 2007 and 2004.
